Are You a Beach Bum? In the sun, pool and beach most of the summer! Well here some of my summer must haves that I don’t go without during the summer months.
First priority is my hair. I always buy a leave-in conditioner to put in my hair in between washings and before going in the water. Leave-in conditioner gives you that much needed extra protection against the daily sun exposure and the pool and salt water at the beach. I am currently using Malibu leave-in conditioner. I’m loving this 100% vegan product with dual protection against UV rays and thermal styling. It’s a 9oz bottle which will last me the whole season. Another good product to try is called it’s a 10. Now this product is also very good but it’s only a 4 oz bottle for more money. You can find it a most drug stores as well as your local beauty supply store. Also great to use is KENRA anti-breakage deep masque conditioner. I use this also in addition to my daily conditioning routine. I know what your thinking, that’s a lot of conditioning for the hair. Believe me I need it! Some other summer recommendations for today are lip balm and bronzer. Most of you may always remember to lather up with sunblock from head to toe at the beach, but how many of you forget about your lips? I can tell you I forget almost all the time. Which can lead to sun blisters on the lips. So using a new product by thrive. It’s a Lip Balm with SPF 24 protection. Not only does it give my lips full protection, but it smells really good too! Lastly I never go without using my baked bronzer. I Love Love Love it!! You can use it with or without makeup underneath and it gives your face that added glow. Fabulous! It doesn’t matter how tan you are. A bronzer just gives you that special affect when you walk out the door. I hope this was helpful.
